Dominical Lifeguards S.A. is the first ever beach lifeguard service in Costa Rica and is wholly supported by voluntary donations and contributions. We have reduced drowning from an annual average of 19 per year down to almost zero. We need funding for:

Lifeguard Salaries:

Captain: $50 per day, $350 per week, or about $1500 per month

1st Sergeant: $35 per day; 2nd Sergeant: $30 per day; Each Assistant: 10,000 colones per day, 70,000 colones per week, or  300,000 colones per month

Lifeguard work schedule:

8am-5pm everyday, with reduced hours during rainy season depending on conditions.
